English books can be expensive to buy in Germany and there isn’t always a massive choice available, at least that’s how I feel. That’s why I’ve started the English Book Swap Stuttgart, a place for readers to swap their pre loved books for more of the same and stop for a cup of tea too.
The first meet is this weekend, 12:30pm, Sunday 6th December 2015 at O’Reilly’s Irish pub. The more people, the more books, so everyone’s invited. Who can say no to new (to you) books?
Only a couple of guidelines for the swap, all books must be in English and in good readable condition, this is strictly swapping, do not take more than you bring.
Find us on Facebook and join to get automatically invited to the swaps. Don’t worry if you can’t make it to this meet, the next one is on the cards for March 2016.

That sounds like a great idea! Unfortunately I’d sooner give away my brother than any book I’ve read and enjoyed, so I wouldn’t be the ideal participant. But having a cup of tea with other avid readers sounds fun! Will you post about your offerings and new finds??
If only my flat would allow the keeping of all books, sadly space requirements say no 🙁 I hope to gets some good swaps for Christmas reading!
